Education/Interests
I am in the process of obtaining my technical DEC in Graphic and Web Design at John Abbott College. I am mainly interested in print work (business cards, posters, catologs etc.) because I can be more creative with the projects I produce and I can use other skill sets like photography. I can use my photography skills and create a memorable piece of print work. Moreover, using other skills I am able to create stunning print projects while still keeping true to my style.
Work Ethic
I would consider myself to be a hard worker who does her work as efficently as possible and takes on new challenges with a strive. I am unafraid to ask questions, willing to collaborate with my co-workers and work as hard as possible to achieve my goals. In addition, in my previous jobs I’ve worked with children as a camp counsellor. Also, volunteered at my church helping children learn more about their faith through fun and engaging activites. I’ve had experience in working with the public as a receptionist at a city pool. Furthermore, from my job experiences I had to learn to adapt quickly to constant change and made sure that these changes would work smoothly and efficiently. In addition, I learned the value of working and collaborating with my co-workers.
My Ambitions After Stage
I am looking for a part-time summer job where I can apply the skills and techniques that I have learned from my education and use them in the workforce. My goal is to further my education by going to university and obtaining a bachelor of fine arts (BFA) and also a masters of design studies (MDES) in the program known as design.
